Ruturaj Gaikwad and Devon Conway’s partnership for the Chennai Super Kings against the Sunrisers Hyderabad in the 46th match of the Indian Premier League on May 1, 2022, was a display of skill and composure.

Chennai Super Kings batted first. Due to the 182-run partnership for the 1st wicket between Ruturaj Gaikwad and Devon Conway, they posted a competitive total of 202/2 in their 20 overs.

RCB batted first and posted a formidable total of 215/1 in their 20 overs. In reply, Delhi Daredevils got off to a decent start but kept losing wickets at crucial intervals. Despite a valiant effort from their middle order, they could not keep up with the required run rate.

RCB’s bowlers bowled with discipline and picked up wickets at regular intervals, which eventually led to win the match by 21 runs.

4. Shaun Marsh, Adam Gilchrist – 206 runs (Kings XI vs. RCB, 17-May-11)

Shaun Marsh and Adam Gilchrist combined to score 206 runs for the 2nd wicket for Kings XI Punjab against the Royal Challengers Bangalore in 2011.
