Highest 3rd Wicket Partnership in ODI

Highest 3rd Wicket Partnership in ODI

3rd Wicket Partnership refers to the number of runs scored by two batsmen after the fall of the second wicket.

This partnership is crucial for a team’s success as it provides stability to the batting side when the team has lost early wickets, then stabilizes the innings and prevents further collapses.

The highest third wicket partnership in ODI is 258 runs and it belongs to two West Indian batsmen, Darren Bravo and Denesh Ramdin. They put on a batting masterclass against Bangladesh in 2014.
