Chennai Super Kings faced off against the Rajasthan Royals in the 32nd match of the Indian Premier League on April 3, 2010. Chennai Super Kings batted first and posted a formidable total of 246/5 in their 20 overs.
Murali Vijay was the standout performer for CSK, smashing a brilliant 127 runs off just 56 balls. His innings was decorated with 8 fours and an astounding 11 sixes. Along with Vijay, Albie Morkel played a crucial role, scoring a quickfire 62 off 34 balls.
In response, Rajasthan Royals put up a strong fight but fell short of the target, finishing at 223/5 in their 20 overs. Naman Ojha played a valiant innings for RR, scoring an unbeaten 94 off 55 balls. Shane Watson also contributed significantly with a blazing 60 off 25 balls.
9. Rishabh Pant (DD, 128 runs off 63 balls)*

Batting first, Delhi Daredevils posted a competitive total of 187/5 in their 20 overs. Rishabh Pant was the star performer for Delhi, scoring a magnificent unbeaten 128 runs off just 63 balls.
His innings was studded with 15 fours and 7 sixes and played a crucial role in setting up a challenging target for Sunrisers Hyderabad. Harshal Patel also contributed with a quickfire 24 runs off 17 balls.
In response, Sunrisers Hyderabad chased down the target comfortably, reaching 191/1 in 18.5 overs. Shikhar Dhawan and Kane Williamson led the charge for Sunrisers with brilliant unbeaten innings.

In response, the Delhi Daredevils started off well but fell short of the target, finishing at 194/9 in their 20 overs. Ross Taylor was the standout performer for Delhi, scoring a brisk 55 off 26 balls. However, it wasn’t enough to chase down the massive target set by RCB.
7. Shubman Gill (GT, 129 runs off 60 balls)
Gujarat Titans put up a commanding performance against Mumbai Indians in Qualifier 2 of the Indian Premier League on May 26, 2023. Batting first, Gujarat Titans posted a formidable total of 233/3 in their 20 overs, thanks to a brilliant century by Shubman Gill,
who scored 129 runs off just 60 balls, including 7 fours and 10 sixes. Sai Sudharsan also contributed with a quickfire 43 before retiring hurt.
In response, Mumbai Indians struggled to keep up with the required run rate and were eventually bowled out for 171 in 18.2 overs. Suryakumar Yadav was the top scorer for Mumbai Indians with 61 runs off 38 balls.
However, the Mumbai Indians’ batting lineup faltered against the disciplined bowling of Gujarat Titans, with Mohit Sharma being the pick of the bowlers, taking 5 wickets for just 10 runs.
6. AB de Villiers (RCB, 129 runs off 52 balls)*
RCB put up an impressive batting display against Gujarat Lions on May 14, 2016, scoring 248/3 in their 20 overs. The top performers for RCB were Virat Kohli, who scored a magnificent 109 off 55 balls, and AB de Villiers, who remained unbeaten on 129 off just 52 deliveries.
De Villiers’ innings was particularly spectacular, as he hit 10 fours and 12 sixes, showcasing his remarkable hitting ability. Despite losing early wickets, RCB’s middle order, including Shane Watson and KL Rahul, supported Kohli and de Villiers well, ensuring a massive total on the board.
In response, the Gujarat Lions struggled to keep up with the required run rate and were bowled out for just 104 in 18.4 overs.
5. KL Rahul (KXIP, 132 runs off 69 balls)*
On September 24, 2020, in the 6th match of the IPL, KL Rahul displayed his prowess against Royal Challengers. Batting first, Kings XI Punjab got off to a solid start with openers KL Rahul and Mayank Agarwal.
Although Agarwal was dismissed for 26, KL Rahul held firm and played a spectacular innings. He remained unbeaten on 132 runs off just 69 balls, smashing 14 fours and 7 sixes. It is the highest individual score in IPL by Indian batsman. His innings propelled Kings XI Punjab to a formidable total of 206/3 in their 20 overs.
In response, Royal Challengers Bangalore faltered right from the start and kept losing wickets at regular intervals. None of their batsmen could get going, with only AB de Villiers and Washington Sundar showing some resistance.
De Villiers scored 28 runs, while Sundar contributed 30 runs. However, it wasn’t enough as RCB was bowled out for just 109 runs in 17 overs.
4. AB de Villiers (RCB, 133 runs off 59 balls)*
The Royal Challengers Bangalore faced off against the Mumbai Indians at the Wankhede Stadium in Mumbai in the 46th match of the IPL on May 10, 2015.
Batting first, RCB got off to a solid start with Chris Gayle and Virat Kohli at the crease. However, Gayle fell early, scoring 13 runs. Kohli then took charge and anchored the innings, finishing unbeaten on 82 off 50 balls.

Quinton de Kock played an outstanding knock of 140-run knock for Lucknow Super Giants in 2022 against KKR on May 18, 2022. Batting first, LSG got off to a phenomenal start, with their opening pair of Quinton de Kock and KL Rahul putting on an unbeaten 210-run partnership.
De Kock was the star of the show, smashing an unbeaten 140 runs off just 70 balls, including 10 fours and 10 sixes. Rahul played a supporting role, scoring 68 not out off 51 balls. LSG posted a massive total of 210/0 in their 20 overs.
In response, KKR got off to a disastrous start, losing both their openers for just 9 runs. However, Nitish Rana and Shreyas Iyer staged a remarkable comeback, putting on a 122-run partnership for the third wicket.
Rana scored a quickfire 42 off 22 balls, while Iyer played a captain’s knock, scoring 50 off 29 balls. Sam Billings and Rinku Singh also made valuable contributions, but KKR fell just short of the target, finishing at 208/8 in their 20 overs, losing by just 2 runs.

Steven Smith was the only batsman who showed some resistance, scoring 41 runs off 31 balls. However, the rest of the batting lineup failed to make a significant impact. Pune Warriors could only manage 133/9 in their 20 overs, falling short by a massive 130 runs.
