Highest 8th Wicket Partnership in T20 | Top 10
It is not easy to score a lot of runs when you come in at number 8 or 9. There are usually only a few overs left, and the other team is bowling their best.
But sometimes, these batsmen can hit the ball hard and make some useful runs for their team. With only two wickets remaining, batsmen need to take calculated risks and play sensibly to score runs and help their team win the match.
In the history of T20 international cricket, there have been 25 times when the 8th wicket partnership has scored 50 or more runs. It shows how special these partnerships are.
The highest 8th wicket partnership in t20 is 80 runs. Preston Mommsen and Safyaan Sharif of Scotland made that partnership against the Netherlands in 2015.
